I bought this one from a retired
clock repair man. He had three of these, and this was the best looking
of the bunch. Its a home made clock, but the guy I bought it from
said the creator of this
clock used to frequent the NAWCC conventions quite a few years ago
trying to sell these unusual clocks. The
statue is made of iron rod reinforced plaster, and the copper balls look like
they were made from old-style toilet bowl
floats. The movement is german made. Overall
length of the clock itself exceeds 38 inches.
The statue is approximately 33 inches tall.
I'm looking
for help with rebuilding the clock. The
suspension spring is missing the upper block,
and I am missing the jewel bar as well.
Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
