Spring Wound Cuckoo Clock |
Year: circa 1920
Description: This
unusual Spring Wound Cuckoo Clock is one of my favorites, and hung in
my Grandfather's (Opa) Den for years. The movers crushed the trim
pieces on the last move and we are currently locked in legal
proceedings in trying to get the claim paid for repairs |

|
Ellie's Cuckoo Clock |
Year: circa
1930
Description:
In a deal I made with my mother, I am
to clean and repair two of these cuckoo clocks for my nieces. In
return she let me have the bulk of my dad's once prized collection. I
chose this one, as it is an older model and although rather plain, it
still looks good. |

|
Mollie's Cuckoo Clock |
Year: circa
1920
Description: As
in the description above, this is the other clock chosen for
restoration. It is heavier, and probably of better construction. |

|
Grand ma's Cuckoo Clock |
Year: circa
1957
Description: This
clock my dad brought back from overseas as a gift for his folks. I
still have the customs tag he had to fill out when he brought it back
with him. Like most of the other clocks, this one was damaged in our
coast to coast move. |
