This clock was my first combination Case restoration and true strip the clock movement completely apart and thorough cleaning using methods I learned from reading books. The results may not appear to be much, but they are none the less to me. This clock has really boosted my confidence in clock repair, and has shown me that I have much to learn yet.

Front view of the clockThis is my current project clock. This clock was almost thrown out after the flood claimed most of the collection. But I saved it to use as a test clock for various restoration methods. After the success with the Vedette clock, I am  confident I can get this clock back to running condition.

Lara Croft on the quest for the big pendulumA more than capable assistant. Nice beveled glass, and overall an attractive case. While cleaning, I removed all the glass and made sure to get all the silt out of the case.

The Plaque on the bottom edge of the case denotes that the clock was made in Frankfurt aM and gives a phone number for the clockmaker. (Doesn't work as I tried it)

I Was going to use the movement I believe that came with it, but it requires repairs well beyond my ability right now, so I bought a movement that I think will work:
