This is my current project clock. This clock
was almost thrown out after the flood claimed most of the collection. But I saved it to
use as a test clock for various restoration methods. After the success with the Vedette
clock, I am confident I can get this clock back to running condition.
A more than capable
assistant. Nice beveled glass, and overall an attractive case. While cleaning, I removed
all the glass and made sure to get all the silt out of the case.
T he Pendulum was found in the case, and may be original to
the clock, as I have seen a similar clock with a like pendulum.
The Plaque on the bottom edge of the case denotes
that the clock was made in Frankfurt aM and gives a phone number for the clockmaker.
(Doesn't work as I tried it)
I Was going to use the movement I believe that came
with it, but it requires repairs well beyond my ability right now, so I bought a movement
that I think will work: |
